Southern Nevada Youth Tennis Foundation, Inc.

We will maintain a high level of professionalism within
the Foundation and our employees.
1.We are committed to promoting respect and trust in all the Foundation’s actions among our associations and partnerships. This respect will be enhanced by our honorable fulfillment of all agreements.
2.We will build partnerships with other sports organizations, affiliations and facilitators that support community tennis/exercise activities.
3.We will develop and conduct quality tennis programs that are administered by trained and qualified Tennis Professionals.
4.We believe that people are our most important resources and will strive to treat everyone with respect and dignity as both an equal opportunity employer and community services provider.
Short Range
1.To develop tennis/exercise programs for youth that increase physical skills, mental discipline, and advanced levels of competition.
2.To develop tennis/exercise programs for youth who do not have access to private or public programs, training, or coaching.
3.To organize tennis tournaments for local youth dedicated to our community’s role models (eg, Pancho Gonzalez, Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, David Pate).
4.To develop fund raising activities to further the mission of the SNYTF.
5.To organize and fund a youth “Tennis Travel Team” that can participate and compete in other areas of the country.
6.To provide USTA/USPTA training for SNYTF coaching staff and encourage professional certification.
7.To partner with other tennis associations and sports affiliates to expand the tennis opportunities for Clark County youth (eg, Agassi College Preparatory Academy)
8.To recruit a SNYTF member and officer who is a respected, local, and established tennis professional at a premier facility.
9.To continuously replenish the tennis equipment for the widest variety of local programs.
Long Range
1.To provide tennis/exercise sessions to supplement the physical education curriculum for the Clark County School District (CCSD).
2.To provide after school tennis/exercise activities in partnership with other youth foundations.
3.To provide tools for all youth children to achieve their full potential on and off the court; while establishing themselves as good citizens in our community now and in the future.
4.To provide uniforms, equipment, and tennis/exercise sessions in the “Ace Out- Drugs” program for CCSD middle schools.
5.To provide the tennis/exercise programs for the “After-School All-Stars” (formerly known as the Greater Las Vegas Inner City Games).
6.To acquire and promote a public Tennis Center in Southern Nevada, staffed by Professional Instructors and Sports Coaches.
7.To establish a fully staffed, multicultural home office for the SNYTF.
8.To establish a permanent endowment allowing SNYTF to be fully functional without decreasing its principle financial asset.
